As was expected, Apple has introduced an updated Apple TV offering support for 1080P video at “The New iPad” conference yesterday. Don’t be confused! It is still that small set-top box. The difference is that Apple has updated its user interface: with icon-based category buttons and large billboard-style artwork for content.
To our joy, the new Apple TV maintains the same $99 price tag as its predecessor and the pre-order is available today! The new Apple TV will be launched on March 16th.
Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Philip Schiller said: “People are going to love streaming movies and TV shows in 1080p with the new Apple TV, and photos look beautiful displayed at the maximum resolution of your TV. Apple TV is easier than ever to use with its new icon-based interface and the ability to access your purchased movies, TV shows and music right from iCloud.”
Simultaneously, Apple’s iCloud services have also been updated in order to support 1080P video, running on any device connected to the Apple TV to play their favorite videos.

Furthermore, the new iOS version brings us many other new features, let’s see what they are:
- A new version of camera applications
- Video stabilization

However, there is no introduction about the function of gendary lock screen sliding camera. Once new features are discovered, we will take the first report, please pay attention to it!

According to the latest news from iMore website who has successfully predicted the Apple iPad event will be held today: Apple iPad 3 will support LTE 4G network. While The Wall Street Journal also reported few days ago that Apple will sell iPad 3 with 4G version through Verizon and AT & T in United States.
At present, iMore site reveals that Apple iPad 3 conference will include 4G LTE network support. Since 2012 we have heard of such news already: iOS device will support 4G LTE network, but it is uncertain whether it will be achieved with the arrival of iPad 3 ( or called iPad HD, it’s not sure yet ), in other words, Apple will keep it until the iPhone 5 in October this year.
Some media think it is very significant that iPad 3 supports 4G LTE network, which can be regarded as the judgement whether the next generation iPhone would support such a network or not.
Although there are predictions and rumors everywhere recently, it is more likely that we believe iPad 3 will be endowed with a quad – core processor. Whether it is true or false, the answer will be announced soon!

People who used to Windows system may be familiar with one of the features of Mac OS X, that is: You can’t rename or operate other files in the dialog box of “Open” or “Save” directly. To our joy, this feature can be realized with the prerelease version of Mountain Lion.
As we can see, there are improved “Save” and “Open” dialog box with the picture as following. Users can rename an existing file in the dialog box directly in stead of turning back to Finder to search it again and again. All you need to do is just double click the file name in the “Open” or “Save” box, then you can start editing, with the picture showing as below:
Meanwhile, users can also rename the application titles in Mountain Lion. However, there is no rename option in Lion Version yet at present, while lock, copy and save at the last time version and browse all version. In the following picture, we can see that the first option is Rename, and there are other options for users to move to iCoud and other locations straightforward.
Although it is only a small change, it makes people wait for such a long time.
Oh yeah, it’s really happened eventually! Tech blog The Verge has just received the invitation from Apple official’s next iPad event. Although it is not certain that the name is iPad 3 or iPad HD, even other name that no one has guessed at present, it is no doubt that the next iPad announcement will take place soon.
The conference is being held at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco at 10AM PST, on Wednesday, March 7th. As we can see, the place is the same with release of Apple’s important products.
By the way, if you can look closely at the screen of image above, it is not hard to find: it’s not just a regular iPad display. In stead, it’s a higher resolution than the iPad and iPad 2. So, it is very likely to be confirmed that the rumors of iPad 3 resolution ratio will be 2048 * 1536.
